Who We Are
NID-HCA was established as a conduit to empower local communities nationwide with the understanding of the rights and obligations in all matters effecting housing. The foremost creation of NID-HCA was to provide financial literacy and economic empowerment to inner city communities. NID-HCA has been a HUD approved housing counseling agency since 1995. Since 1995 NID-HCA has expanded to over 17 states and has counseled over 15,000 persons/entities nationwide. NID-HCA is an independent 501(c) 3 organization under the IRS code. NID-HCA is headquarters in Oakland, CA with a substantial presence through three local offices in in the State of Ohio.
What Is the Process?
1. Complete intake application (sign and initial where required)
2. Send completed intake along with supporting documents via email to
popeagency@nidhousing.com or fax to (216) 707-3778
3. Contact Office to Verify Intake has been received
4. Schedule Counseling Session with Counselor
